New fundings for Nano4GEA!
We are very happy to share that recently our research group has been founded in different projects. Here's the most recent ones:
-
NANOSAFE - Safe and sustainable use of nanomaterials: vocational education, training and entrepreneurship
It is a 3-year project which aims to build the first integrated European ecosystem for education, training, and skills development in nanosafety, addressing thee growing demand for qualified professionals in sectors where nanomaterials and advanced materials play an increasingly central role.
It is funded by the European Commission 🇪🇺, through an Erasmus+ Alliances for innovation call.
The partners are Spain (PI, 🇪🇸), Italy (🇮🇹), Poland (🇵🇱), Germany (🇩🇪), Belgium (🇧🇪) Greece (🇬🇷) and The Netherlands (🇳🇱)
-
AIR-FERT – Modular Electrified Platform for Capture and Conversion of Airborne Nitrogen and Sulfur Oxides into Fertilizers
It is a 4-year project which will develop a revolutionary electrified modular device that captures nitrogen and sulfur oxides (NOx, N2O, SOx) from agricultural emissions and converts them directly into fertilizer precursors, operating at low temperature and ambient pressure. The system integrates advanced, humidity-tolerant precious-metal-free electrocatalysts, and 3D-printed, multifunctional monoliths, powered entirely by electricity.
It is funded by the European Commission 🇪🇺, through Horizon Europe EIC PATHFINDER CHALLENGES.
The partners are Sweden (PI, 🇸🇪), Italy (🇮🇹), Germany (🇩🇪), Swiss (🇨🇭) and Slovenia (🇸🇮)
-
Bridging Digital Transformation and Research Excellence in Ethiopia
It is a 2-year International project, in the framework of the initiative Research Capacity Building with Africa. The project's overall objective is to establish a collaboration network between the partner universities, which includes both the exchange of best practices in the adoption of methods and tools for the digital transition of universities and the development of research projects in the topics highlighted as priorities in the call.
It is funded by the Ministry of Research (MUR, 🇮🇹).
The partners are Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Politecnico of Turin, and University of Udine (Italy, 🇮🇹), Addis Ababa University and Jimma University (Ethiopia, 🇪🇹), Institut national de la recherche scientifique - Université du Québec INRS (Canada, 🇨🇦)
